BeWarm was acquired by Hometree Group and is now called Hometree Finance. You may also see the name Home Infrastructure Technology or HTG Finance on paperwork relating to your plan — this is us too.
Who is Hometree Finance?
Hometree Finance provides affordable payment plans that help homeowners upgrade to more efficient and sustainable energy solutions including boilers, solar and battery systems. Our plans come with all-inclusive servicing and maintenance, for complete peace of mind.
We're part of Hometree Group, a fast-growing home services business trusted by over 100,000 UK customers — so your plan sits with an established, well-backed business.
What does this mean for BeWarm or Home Infrastructure Technology customers?
Your plan continues under its existing terms and agreement, and the service we provide and the engineer partners we work with remain the same. The only difference you'll notice is our name — so look out for messages from Hometree Finance instead of BeWarm or Home Infrastructure Technology.
If you have any questions, get in touch — we're here to help.
Why have I received a notice from the Land Registry?
BeWarm Group Limited, Home Infrastructure Technology Limited and HTG Finance Limited are all Hometree Finance. If you've had a notice from HM Land Registry mentioning any of these names, this is regarding an application for a restriction on title relating to your Heating Plan or Solar Plan.
This is an entry in your property's title register at the Land Registry, made in accordance with your agreement with us, which simply ensures that if you're selling your property, Hometree Finance will be notified by your solicitor. We can then ensure that your plan is ended in accordance with our terms, or transferred to the buyer of your property.
The restriction is not a charge on your property, so it doesn't give Hometree Finance any right to repossess or sell your home. If you've received this notice, there's no need to do anything, and once your plan ends, we'll automatically remove the restriction on title.
